The first year of life from newborn to toddler is a very rapid change. I like to photograph mom and baby when your child is three months old. Six month old babies can sit up and by nine months the smiles are great! Most children are able to stand up and hold on to a prop for their first birthday portrait.
A normal session usually involves two outfits. As the child ages I love to mix a beautiful crisp white background studio image with a warm natural sunlight environmental portrait. Most young children photograph best early in the morning.
